All choirs are invited to present themselves to an international jury in different categories like Pop, Jazz, Sacred Music and others. Special attention in the competitions is given to contemporary music.
Thanks to the Festival of Choral Music, those who choose not to be placed in competition, get the chance to join a big celebration of choral music and sing with international and local choirs. Rehearsals and coaching with choral experts, evaluation performances and professional vocal training additionally provide a chance for further education.
Toruń is located on both sides of the Vistula River and is known as one of Poland’s most beautiful cities. The medieval town center with its 14th century Town Hall and the remaining sections of its walls was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
